Daily Practice for the SAT® App Reviews

Do yourself a favor and dont download this. The UI is clunky and scanning practice tests to see your score DOESNT WORK. This app is filled with glitches, for example, the phone just locks after 15 secs of not touching the screen IN THE APP.

I downloaded this for the purpose of scanning my score, but when I try, it crashes every single time. Only reason Im giving it two stars is because I havent tried to use it for prep yet.

Tried to scan my #2 practice psat, but the app graded it with the #1 psat practice answer key instead

I just spent half an hour trying to scan my test in different lightings and rooms, and NOTHING WORKS!! Now I have to score them all by hand... Very upset I wasted so much valuable study time- please fix this :(

I WAS TRYING TO SCAN MY SAT PRACTICE TEST #1 AND IT DOESNT SEEM TO SCAN ONE OF MY PAGES AND IVE BEEN ATTEMPTING RE-SCANNING THE PAGES LIKE INFINITE TIMES AND I JUST WASTED MY TIME!!

Bring back the old UI, the new one is too cluttered.

Im over here just trying to get a good grade on my SAT. In this app is not helping. It is complete garbage. G A R B A G E! The scanner is stupid, and dont even get me started with the practice problems. Some are way to complicated. BRING BACK THE OLD APP!!!!!! College Board you are trash.

Good app, except for the multiple choice, if you get the question wrong it tells you the right answer. Itd be better if it let you keeping guessing on your own until you get the right answer.

Bring the old one back. This app is too much and the simplicity of the other app was far better

Sadly yet another example for an app that was great for years because of its simplicity and then has been updated to an overloaded complicated monster.

I have tried to scan my practice test at least 50 times and every time it comes up with the same exact error message.

This ap is not good. It is not user friendly and does not work well.

I appreciate College Boards attempt to expand their Question of the Day app, but this app is not very functional. Doing passage reading on a mobile device is rather difficult and switching back between the text and the questions is cumbersome. Additionally, there is no way to search for questions by date, only by difficulty. This app needs much more work before it can actually help one prepare for the SAT.

Boooooo ... you ruined a good thing! The old SAT QOTD app allowed kids to practice for the SAT in just 1 minute a day. The new app is way too complicated to keep kids attention. The new questions, primarily the new reading questions, can take 5, 10, even 15 minutes to answer. The main point of a phone app is simple and quick. When kids want to fully practice for the SAT, theyll either do it on a computer or on paper. I practiced using SAT QOTD with my two older girls who are now in college. It was quick and simple. Even teenagers were easily convinced to answer a one minute question every day or two. With the new app, its too much to ask my current 9th grader to do todays question. The additional features of the new app should be less prominent or in a different app. Make it quick and simple to inspire kids with a 1 minute daily question. The current app is like an additional homework assignment.

Would be a great app IF it worked. Can only scan in 3 of the 5 pages. Had all 62 of my students try. NOT one was able to get in all the pages. Very disappointing.

Did anyone on the development team try to actually use this app? Designed to scan one thing and can’t do it in any light on any background. Score manually, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP.

Took a great app and redesigned it by committee. Worthless. Worst part is you cut off the best app around and forced users to convert to this crap! Give me a choice to use the old app! Forcing me to use this means Ill find another choice. Let me have the old code and Ill release and support the old app for the MILLIONS of users that wont use this new version. 10X worse than new Coke!

I never was able to get me PSAT scores online. Therefore I cant use them on Khan Academy practices. This app doesnt scan the paper score sheets at all. No success with CollegeBoard ever.
